Freeform quadrilateral photo cropping

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Overview

Quadra is designed with privacy as a foundation. All photo cropping and processing happens entirely on your device. We collect no personal data, require no account, and transmit nothing off your device.

Data We Collect

Quadra does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The photo you choose to crop, and the cropped result, are processed entirely on-device and never leave your iPhone.

Photo Library Access

Quadra uses Apple's system photo picker to let you select a photo — this runs outside the app, so Quadra never gains access to your full photo library, only the image you explicitly pick. Separately, Quadra requests permission to add photos so it can save your cropped result back to your library; this permission is used for that purpose only.

Image Processing

Cropping, color fill, and background blur are all performed locally using Apple's Core Graphics and Core Image frameworks. No image data is ever transmitted to a server.

Data Retention

Quadra does not keep a copy of your original or cropped photos anywhere except the Photos library entry it creates at your request. The app holds the image in memory only while you're editing it.

Third-Party SDKs

Quadra contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app is built entirely on Apple frameworks.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
